NEW - VINTAGE ENGLISH OIL PAINTING OF CHILDREN: This lovely English oil painting was imported from an art dealer in Denmark. It is a genuine oil on canvas measuring 14" wide and 10" high without the frame ..... the frame is 2.5" wide. It is a 19th century painting that was previously restored and varnished and is in very good condition with a light trace of crawuelure remaining.  The painting depicts two children who have been studying but have been temporarily distracted by some event. They are sitting inside in a rustic type interior. They share a book with pictures of fish. There is an indistinct insciption of the back of the picture ...... painted by an unidentified English 19th century artist. The black moulded wood frame is contemporary with the painting ..... some small repairs but in overall good condtion. NEW - 1930's CROWN OF THORNS QUILT: Spectacular green and yellow 1930's quilt in the Crown of Thorns pattern.... unusual design with center medallion. Measures a generous 70 x 83 inches. Handpieced. Hand quilting with 8 stitches per inch. Binding is handsewn. Batting is thin. In wonderful condition without holes or tears .... some minor age spotting. Fabrics are all cotton with cotton batting.
